5 minutes we been traveling in the woods. I looked back, and could not see the school. All I heard was the crackling of me and Dayla's feet crunching on the dead leaves. Our backpacks jingling on our backs, and our jackets buttoned on the windy, misty, October air. " Dayla, do you know where we are going?" I said inpatiently. " Yes, but if it makes you feel better I have my phone if you ever needed to call my mom to find us." She replyed back. " Try the swat team, " I replyed angerly," I think we are lost, let us sit down for a minute, maybe get a drink of water and eat something leftover in our lunch boxes, and call your mom." I said. I threw my backpack by a tall tree in the woods, then I sat on it like a pillow. " I'm an idiot for wearing a skirt today." Dayla said. I grabbed a skin of my leftover sandwich, and she got her phone out. " Low battery," she said," 33% is all we got, we have to let it last. And my mom won't come home from work until 7:00, so there is no use texting her." Dayla said. " What about your dad? Or grandma?" I said franticly. " Grandma died, and my dad is in the Bahamas, I can't call from long distance." So we sat ther from a good 4 minutes thinking. While we sat, it felt like the wind said, " ...Run...and..Hide..He...Comes..For...You..." It sounded like who or what said that was singing it in a soft little kid tune. The time was almost 3:00, so we had 4 more hours, and there are probibly bears, mountain lions, wolves, anything scary out here. The only thing I remember from scinece class was to hide up in a tree, or was it hug a tree? Something like that. But the trees were too high, and we had to keep moving to keep our bodies warm.
Snot running down our cold noses, we hiked longer and longer. "I-I-I t-think we are c-close to the d-d-drop-off-f-f." Dayla said. This weather was frezeing, this was more like winter weather. I estamated it was 4:50, 5:10, or somthing like that. But weird enough, it was getting dark-fast. We hardn't heard that tune the wind whispered, until that very moment. It was like a long, dark, crackling voice now. "..He...Is...Here...He...Found...You..He...Found...You..." The trees crackled, and the wind blew so hard! Suddentaly, I screamed. " What's wrong?" Dayla said.
Next Part coming out soon.. ;)
